Travel Earth Fishing Adventure Passport for travel

First of all I would like to point out that any domestic travel within Australia does not require a passport. Make sure you always have your official identification with you when you are travelling as all domestic airports require identification at check-in.

Anyone travelling internationally is subject to that countries passport control policies. Now that’s out of the way let’s get on with your TravelEarth adventure.

Over the past 14 years of booking fishing adventures for people all around Australia and the world, we have come up with a few hints and tips that help minimise issues. We need to control the things we can control. There are several things listed below. Please go through them at your leisure, it is important to have that little bit of extra information.

This document is a bit dry but I do think it is going to help.

Everyone is super busy these days but I guarantee that this short time investment will give you a better understanding on how to get the best out of your fishing adventure.

    Disclaimer:

How can I possibly be a hints and tips document without a disclaimer. Throughout our documents we recommend different products. There are no kickbacks/commission/product discount etc etc we are not influences. We work hard to make sure you have the best possible information. These are simply products and services that we have found to work for us.

    Hints & Tips:

Here are some Hints & Tips. The idea here is to give you information that we would like to know before we start our fishing adventure. Not every word applies to every charter or indeed individual. Apply this information to what you already know.

    Personal responsibility:

Your personal safety is your responsibility. This is completely shocking I know but we all have that responsibility to ourselves and those that care about us. Think about that for a moment. If you get to a swimming spot and you notice that there are no local cars (they are all rental vans and vehicles) ask yourself the question why? If you are uncertain of something just ask.

Has your driver/guide been drinking? Should I be holding this large metal pole in a thunderstorm?

We want you to have an amazing adventure. That is our job to find you the best locations and activities. Please do it as safely as possible.

Remember not all danger is going to be as obvious as a massive saltwater crocodile sunning himself on a riverbank.

    Insurance:

I used to blindly take out the cheapest travel insurance that I could find. It wasn’t until I actually needed to make a claim that I found out that insurance policies ain’t insurance policies if they don’t cover things that you need them to cover. There is an insurance cover for just about everything it just cost more.

I’m positive that there is an actuary out there that wants the work out what the premium is for covering yourself with pork chops and going swimming with piranhas.
