This is the flying experience that is like none other.

In a time when it takes sometimes, just as long as your flight to get from home to the airport, there’s something fantastic about being able to land right beside your Fishing Charter. The aircraft is the spirt of adventure and one of the best ways I know to get to a fishing charter.

The Mallard, officially known as the Grumman G-73 Mallard, is a medium, twin-engine amphibious aircraft that holds a unique place in aviation history. Launched in 1946, the Mallard was Grumman’s first aircraft designed from the start for both civilian and commercial use.

With its Pratt & Whitney radial engines, the Mallard was designed to seat ten passengers, although variations of the interior could accommodate more or fewer individuals. It offered improved operational capabilities, including shorter takeoff and landing distances, especially when operating from water.

In summary, the Grumman G-73 Mallard is an intriguing piece of aviation history, embodying the spirit of innovation, versatility, and resilience in aircraft design.
