There are few places on earth where you can target so many different sportfishing species superstars on fly. With a distance of 2300 km, the Great Barrier Reef is home to 900 islands and countless hundreds of sand cays.

What protects the area from significant development has hindered its development as a flyfishing must-do destination.

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel when fishing these untouched fly fishing destinations. The fish behave pretty much the same as they do in many other locations. What the remote nature of the adventure gives you, however, is an opportunity to have a blue bastard take your fly at your feet, wadding along a sandy reef edge. You’ll potentially get to see 300+ of these magnificent fish in one day.

There is no place on earth where the fish population out numbers, the human population, and even the impact from humans on the area than the Great Barrier Reef.

This is the best fishing on earth.

We just need to visit it more.
