Princess Charlotte Bay in Queensland, Australia, is renowned for its exceptional fishing opportunities. The bay’s extensive estuaries, mangrove-lined rivers, and interconnected water systems create the ideal habitat for barramundi and many other sports fishing superstars.

One thing that makes Princess Charlotte Bay (PCB) so incredible is that it’s quite difficult to get there logistically, as it’s almost impossible to get there early in the year because of wet season rain via land. This is where the incredible assets of Fish North Sports fishing come in handy.

Just a small sample of the rivers and creeks to fish

Yes, you can get there via helicopter from Cairns, but it’s only a little cheaper than taking a flight on Richard Branson’s space plane.

Even in Nemo Colours its expensive

They have resigned a special 7 days & 7 nights Princess Charlotte Bay Fishing Adventure.

This is the Royal Flush of sportfishing assets.

Taking a charter flight from Cairns to Lizard Island early on day one of the charter. You will meet the crew of the game boat Saltaire and depart Lazard Island for PCB.
You will hopefully arrive at PCB that afternoon with a few Spanish Macs for dinner.

Days 2-6 will be a mixture of barra and blue water fishing utilising either the ocean whalers and the gameboat Saltaire or a combination.
Then, on the 7th day, go back to Lizard Island for your flight back to Cairns.

Dinner done well for the week.

The bay’s unique ecosystem and diverse marine life make it one of the best fishing systems on the east coast of Australia. Navigating the intricate waterways casting at the 1000s of snags and drains for barra and Jacks. This is a location where you will not run into many other boats, if any!

Princess Charlotte Bay offers a memorable and immersive adventure for fishos from around the world.

Barramundi fishing stands out as a hallmark of Princess Charlotte Bay. The bay’s extensive estuaries, winding rivers, and interconnected water systems create an ideal habitat for barra. It is just a Queenfish or Cod or Jack or Fingermark or Salmon or GT or… might beat the barra to your lure or fly.

Big Barra like this are not your everyday barra. But they are there and in open water fight crazy hard.

Make sure your guides remember the Mud Crab pots. If the crabbing gods are on your side, this is where you could eat your body weight in Mud Crabs for the week.
Jump on Google Earth and look at the area you will be fishing. Look at the number of Coral Reefs and islands where you can target some of Australia’s best bluewater fish.

The Bluewater fishing in the Coral Sea and the Great Barrier Reef is unparalleled due to the region’s extraordinary biodiversity and vibrant marine ecosystems. The Coral Sea, known for its crystal-clear waters, hosts abundant pelagic species like Spanish Mack, trout, reds, and tuna, providing a thrilling challenge for anglers.
The Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef system, offers a diverse underwater landscape, attracting a myriad of fish species. This abundance, combined with the pristine environment, makes the area a mecca for anglers seeking extraordinary deep-sea adventures, with the promise of landing prized catches in a breathtaking natural setting.

Your home for the week is the mothership Escapade.

The True Essence of Fishing Lies Beyond Luxury

IT is not all fish. Sometime we just need some Pork on our fork

In today’s world of abundance, it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of luxury. However, when it comes to true fishing experiences, opulence should take a backseat to authenticity and a genuine connection with the area and, of course, the fishing.

Escapade Mother Ship Charters understands this sentiment, offering a fishing adventure that prioritises the essence of the experience rather than extravagant amenities.
On those days when the fishing is tough, your guide is not going to turn to you at 3 p.m. and say let’s go back and have a beer. Your guide is going to say come on. “Let’s give this last bit a real crack and see if we can change our luck”. That’s the escapade luxury experience.

The Australian part of the Coral Sea is one of the most protected areas when it comes to commercial fishing on earth. That is easy to say, but why does it have such healthy fish populations in comparison to the rest of the world.

She sleeps up to 6 comfortably when used in conjunction with the gameboat Saltaire.

Escapade Mother Ship Charters focuses on providing the necessary tools and support for a successful fishing adventure. Ensuring that the focus remains on the raw, unadulterated joy of the sport. Instead of lavish accommodations, they prioritise ample space to unwind and comfortable cabins for restful nights. This is no Hollywood movie set. There is no facade, just as there are no ensuites. Regarding Fishing adventures, these guys know what they’re doing.

True luxury lies in the knowledge that you are going to be fishing with a crew that loves fishing as much as you do. Compared to other mothership charters, the crew do not have a team meeting each night to document all of the extra charges you have incurred that day. If only they put that education and zeal into guiding you onto fish, and if only you catching fish was that important to the skipper, another thing that wouldn’t be happening: you would not compete with your guides to catch fish. You are fishing, and they are guiding.

A boat is not a boat. This is a boat.

Following a nice Couta up on the reef. The boys found a few nice GT and trout, but

    no Couta.
