The team are not clock-watchers either. If the fish is good, you’ll stay fishing and not return to go home because it’s 4 p.m. and you’ve had your day on the water already. There is no doubt from time to time, they will pick up a fishing rod and have a cast or two. Most commonly at your invitation. What I have found is, your guide genuinely is vigilant about you catching fish and lots of them. They will have a few cast when the fishing is really tough. In their mind (they are thinking, “There has to be fish here; maybe these guys are doing something wrong? Maybe I have not shown them how to retrieve the lure properly?. I’m gonna have a crack and see if that’s the reason”. Either answer is good for you because that means your guide is thinking about you catching fish.
