Clothing Essentials
- 2 x quick-dry long pants
- 2 x quick-dry shorts
- 2 x full sets of quick-dry, UV-rated fishing shirts (long sleeve, hooded preferred)
- 2 x full sets of casual clothes (for the mothership and travel)
- Long ‘skins’ or lycra tights for wading (mandatory from August onwards)
- Bike shorts or compression shorts (helps avoid chafing when walking flats)
- Fingerless sun/fishing gloves
- Hat (wide-brim or cap for sun protection)
- 2 x neck buffs
- Thick and thin socks + underwear
- T-shirts (optional extras for evenings)
Eyewear
- Polarised sunglasses x 2 (green mirror & copper for low light)
Footwear
- Flats wading boots (must-have for reef walking and stinger safety)
- Neoprene socks or guards (for comfort and protection while wading)
- Thongs / flip flops / crocs / sandals (for casual wear on board)
⚠️ Important Wading Note!
Wading boots are absolutely essential if you’re walking the reef or flats—coral and marine stingers are a serious risk. Always be cautious and wear proper footwear for your safety!

- Waterproof shell jacket (lightweight, packable – e.g., Gore-Tex or H2NO)

- Helicopter and light aircraft transfers may have strict weight limits
